Button Assemblies
Button
Assembly
Replacement button assemblies are available
in six styles. Each style includes one or more
button types, three color options, and custom
engraved or blank.
Horizon®2 keypads, dimmers, and switches
include a button assembly with the order.
Refer to the Horizon 2 device product page to
see the button assembly that is included with
the device and the button assemblies that are
compatible with the device.
Styles Button assemblies are available with the
following style options:
l
Style 1: 5 single buttons
l
Style 2: 4 single buttons and 1 split rocker
button;
Split rocker button is located in the
lowest button position
l
Style 3: 4 single buttons and 1 split rocker
button;
Split rocker button is located in the
second lowest button position
l
Style 4: 3 single buttons and 2 split rocker
buttons;
Split rocker buttons are located in the
two lowest button positions
l
Style 5: 1 medium rocker button and 2
single buttons;
Single buttons are located in the two
lowest button positions
l
Style 6: 1 large rocker button
Button Types The following button types are available:
l
Single button: One press location
provides center press functionality. The
button can be engraved in the center.
One backlight is used for the engraving.
l
Split rocker button: Two press locations
provide left and right press functionality.
The button can be engraved in the center,
left, and right. One backlight is shared for
all engravings.
l
Medium rocker button: Two press
locations provide top and bottom press
functionality. The button can be engraved
in the center, top, and bottom. A
separate backlight is used for each
engraving position.
l
Large rocker button: Two press locations
provide top and bottom press
functionality. The button can be engraved
in the center, top, and bottom. A
separate backlight is used for each
engraving position.
NOTE: The center position of the split
rocker, medium rocker, and large rocker
buttons cannot be used to actuate a
button.
Colors Button assemblies are available in the
following colors to match other Horizon® 2
devices:

White (W)
l
Black (B)
l
Almond (A)
Engraving
Options
Button assemblies are available engraved or
blank:
l
Engraved: Button assemblies ordered
with the ENGRAVED option are custom
engraved prior to shipment.
l
Blank: Button assemblies ordered with
the BLANK option do not include custom
engraving. BLANK buttons can be used as
is or can be custom engraved by a third-
party engraver.
Ordering To order replacement Horizon 2 button
assemblies, order the HZ2-BTNS with
selections for the style, color, and engraving
options:
HZ2-BTNS-[1/2/3/4/5/6]-[A/B/W]
[ENGRAVED/BLANK]
