HZ2-KPCN Mounting in an EU Backbox
To mount the HZ2-KPCN in an EU-style back box, use the supplied metal bracket (2058573).
To install the HZ2-KPCN in a 1-gang EU backbox:
NOTE: To wire the device, refer to Wiring on page 95.
1. Turn power off to the device.
2. Secure the metal backplate (2058573) to the electrical box using two 3 x 12 mm flat head Phillips
mounting screws (2034889). Use the inner mounting holes on the metal backplate. If the electrical
box is installed sideways, use the mounting holes on the sides of the keypad to maintain the
vertical orientation of the keypad. Ensure the device is in the proper orientation with any text
facing up. Use a level to make sure that the metal backplate remains level during installation.
