4. Place the top of the metal bracket (supplied with faceplate) over the back of the device and then
insert the bottom of the metal bracket under the back of the device. Connect the top and bottom
metal bracket by hanging the bottom bracket on the tabs on the top metal bracket. The two
parts of the metal bracket clip together which allows the wiring to remain in place.
NOTE: If the electrical box extends beyond the wall, the metal bracket can be left off to
prevent a gap between the wall and the faceplate.
