Installing a C2N-IRGW-1G
The following tools/hardware are required for installation of a C2N-IRGW-1G.
• Cresnet network cable (not supplied)
• Cresnet connector (supplied)
• Screwdriver (not supplied)
• Two ¾ in. combo head screws (supplied)
• Faceplate (not supplied)
• Standard single-gang electrical box (not supplied)
After the Cresnet network wiring has been installed and verified, use the following
procedure to install the C2N-IRGW-1G in a standard, single-gang electrical box
(refer to illustration that follows this paragraph):
1. Turn Cresnet system power OFF.
2. Connect the Cresnet cable with the supplied connector plug to the
C2N-IRGW-1G’s Cresnet port and the other end to the control system.

Single-gang electrical box (not supplied)
CAUTION: Excess wire that is pinched between the C2N-IRGW-1G and the
electrical box could short out. Make sure that all excess wire is completely inside the
electrical box and not between the box and the C2N-IRGW-1G.
