INSTALLATION

WARNING: REEL SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED ABOVE 15 FEET MAXIMUM FROM THE FLOOR. OVERHEAD INSTALLATION MOUNTINGS SHOULD BE

SUCH THAT THE REEL IS NOT SOLELY SUPPORTED BY BOTLS IN TENSION. A SAFETY CHAIN, CABLE, ENSLOSURE OR NETTING IS STRONGLY

RECOMMEDNED TO MINIMIZE DAMAGE AND/OR POSSIBLE INJORY IN THE EVENT OF A MOUNTING FAILURE.

I-BEAM MOUNTING BRACKET KIT COMPONENTS:

1 3/8-16 x 1” bolts

2 3/8” Narrow Washer

3 3/8-16 locking hex nuts

4 Clamp, ¼” Steel

5 Base (MR-1 or MRT-1)

6 Reel

INSTALLATION / MOUNTING:

• Referring to Figure 1, on the MR-1/MRT-1 assembly, remove the bolts, washers, and nuts (ITEM #1, #2, and #3 respectively) that hold ITEM #4 to the main

bracket (ITEM #5).

• At a suitable location on the I-beam, place P/N #4 around each side of the beam over the flanges. Choose the holes on P/N #5 that most closely secure the

assembly to the I-beam.

• Reinstall bolts, washers, and nuts and tighten securely. The MR-1/MRT-1 should now be securely fastened to the I-beam.

• While holding the reel (ITEM #6) steady, slide the bolts through the base of the reel and into the MR-1/MRT-1assembly. Reinstall the washers and nuts and

tighten securely.

• Review reel to determine if roller bracket orientation is perpendicular to work area. If reel has arm guide and roller bracket as shown in Figure 1, you may need to

move the arm guide to desired location. Simply remove four bolts holding arm guide, re-position, re-attached bolts and torque to proper specifications.
