AFTER USE
1. Switch off the appliance by switching the main switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
3. Let the appliance cool down for at least 30 minutes.
4. Remove the steam hose and shorten the telescopic rod.
5. Remove the water tank and empty it.
6. Rinse the water tank with fresh water and let it dry.
7. Drain the remaining water through the drain plug at the bottom of the appliance.

DESCALING
Important information:
• Apply as needed after about 10 uses of the appliance. However, at least once a month.
• After the last use, wait at least 1 hour for the appliance to cool down completely.
1. The appliance must be switched off and disconnected from the mains.
2. Remove the steam hose and the telescopic rod.
3. Remove the water tank.
4. Dry the water tank inlet.
5. Pour approximately 0.5 l of vinegar solution into the water tank inlet (part vinegar + part water).
6. Gently shake the appliance and let it stand for about 40 minutes.
7. Then drain the solution through the drain plug into a kitchen or a bathroom sink.
8. Rinse the steam hose connection and the water tank inlet with clean water. Repeat as needed until the vinegar
odour disappears.
9. Close the drain plug and store the appliance in a safe place.
