Cordless Handheld and Floor Vacuum Cleaner

Non-rechargeable and rechargeable
batteries must not be disposed of
along with the household waste.
Consumers are legally obliged to sep-
arate and recycle non-rechargeable
and rechargeable batteries.
Non-rechargeable and rechargeable
batteries can be taken free of charge
to a collection point of your local au-
thority/district or in shops so that they
can be disposed of in an environmen-
tally friendly way and valuable raw
materials can be recovered. If they are
not disposed of properly, toxic ingre-
dients may escape into the environ-
ment and cause harm to the health of
humans, animals and plants.
Only dispose of non-rechargeable and
rechargeable batteries when they are
discharged. If possible, use recharge-
able batteries rather than single-use
batteries.
With non-rechargeable and recharge-
able batteries that contain lithium,
cover the poles before disposing
of them to prevent a short circuit.
A short circuit may cause a fire or
explosion.
Removing the Battery
Please Note!
■ The device must not be connected to
the mains power while the battery is
being removed / inserted.
■ The battery must not be taken apart,
thrown into a fire, immersed in liquids or
short-circuited.
■ You should never open the battery!
To remove the battery from the device,
proceed as follows:
1. Remove the dust container (9) and turn
the motor unit (C) upside down.
2. Undo the four screws on the bottom of
the battery compartment with a screw-
driver (PictureF).
3. Remove the top part of the housing.
4. Undo the screws on the battery pack
with a screwdriver (Picture G + H).
5. Take out the battery pack (PictureI).
6. Release the plug connection on the
motor unit (PictureJ).
7. Sever the two remaining, soldered
cables on the motor unit with pliers
(PictureK).
8. Dispose of the battery pack in accord-
ance with the statutory regulations
governing the disposal of batteries.
Waste prevention makes an even more valuable contribution to protecting the
environment. This means if possible, as well as continuing to use or repair a device
yourself, passing it on to another user also represents an ecologically beneficial
alternative to disposal.
