5. Stop all further charging after 1.5 hours at the latest.
- Always unplug the power supply unit from the socket after approx. 1.5 hours of
charging.
Using the Appliance
Switching On and Off
Slide the switch (3) to turn the appliance on or off.
- When switched on, the lock (2) is automatically activated so that the comb attach-
ment cannot be adjusted. The lock
is now visible.
Setting the Cutting Length
To adjust the cutting length, the lock (2) must first be released. Slide it down until the
symbol
is visible.
1. Switch the appliance off.
2. Select a comb attachment. The comb attachments are labelled with the cutting
length.
3. Fit the comb attachment, also refer to illustration A on page 3. Make sure that the
comb attachment is located in the guide rails. You should hear it click into place.
4. Select the desired cutting length.
5. To remove the comb attachment, unlock the lock.
6. Pull the comb attachment up and off.
Cutting Hair and Trimming Beard
1. Select a cutting length (1 – 15 mm or 16 – 30 mm depending on the comb attach-
ment).
2. Switch the appliance on.
Trimming Contours and Shaving out the Neck
The shaving head (1) enables precise contouring of the beard, even in hard-to-reach
areas, as well as clean shaving of the hairline in the neck area.
1. Switch the appliance off.
2. Remove the comb attachment and switch the appliance back on.
3. Shave the desired areas directly with the shaving head (without the comb attach-
ment).
