safety instructions very carefully before using this appliance.

Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling
material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
4. If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if
damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance.
Return it to the dealer immediately.

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance
WARNING of Electrical Shock!
• Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers,
basins or other vessels containing water.
• When the appliance is used in a bathroom, always un-
plug it after use since the proximity of water presents a
hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
• The attachments become hot during operation! Risk
of burns! Be particularly careful when changing the
attachments.
• Make sure that the air inlet grille remains free of fluff or
hair. Fire hazard!
• Always place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable
and level surface.
Electrical Connection
• Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that
the mains voltage to be used matches that of the appli-
ance. You can nd this information on the nameplate.
• Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed
socket.

Assembly / Disassembly of Attachments
WARNING: Risk of Burns!
If you want to change an attachment directly after use, let
the appliance cool down rst!
1. Select a desired attachment.
2. Attach the attachment so
that the screws on the ap-
pliance head fit exactly into
the recesses of the selected
attachment. The attachment
must audibly engage.
3. To detach the attachment, press and hold the button on
the appliance and pull the attachment up and off.
Switch Positions (3)
The appliance has a switch with 4 settings. You can select
the following functions:
0 = Off
C = Cold setting for style fix
I = Medium temperature
II = High temperature
