4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the power cord from the mains when cleaning the fan.
- Use a soft cloth to remove dust accumulated on the back of the grille.
- Clean the front of the grille and the fan housing from time to time with a damp cloth and
dry it thoroughly before switching it back on.
- Do not use harsh cleaning products to clean the appliance, as this may damage it.
- Do not allow water to enter the fan; this could result in re or electric shock.
- The motor comes lubricated from the factory and does not require any further maintenance
by the user.
- Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Repairs must be carried out by qualied
technicians.
Storage
- Be sure to clean the fan before storing it.
- Unplug the fan if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.
- Never wind up the power cord around the fan or bend it at the inlet, as it may break.
- Always store the fan in a cool, dry place.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
If the fan does not work, please refer to the following troubleshooting table before contacting
the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service.

Turn o the fan and unplug it.
Wipe the back of the grille with
a soft, dry cloth to remove any
accumulated dust.
Plug in the fan and check if it is
running normally.
