industry-accredited assessment authority, authorising their
competence to handle refrigerants safely in accordance

- Servicing should only be carried out as recommended by the
equipment manufacturer. Maintenance and repairs requiring
the assistance of other qualied personnel must be carried
out under the supervision of the person competent in the
use of ammable refrigerants.
- Service personnel must be instructed to perform the
following when servicing an appliance using a ammable
refrigerant.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specied
on the product rating label and that the plug is earthed.

- Mechanical connections shall be accessible for maintenance
purposes.
