SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Things you should never do:
- Do not attempt to use the kitchen hood without the mesh
lter or if the lter is excessively dirty or greasy!
- Do not install the kitchen hood above a cooker with a high-
level grill.
- Do not leave pans unattended during use because overheated
fats or oils may catch re.
- Accumulation of grease in the kitchen hood can cause a re
hazard. Clean the appliance according to the instructions in
this manual.
- Exercise extreme caution when cleaning the appliance. Risk
of burns and/or cuts. We recommend the use of gloves.
- Never leave open ames under the kitchen hood.
- If the kitchen hood is damaged, do not attempt to use it.
- Do not ambé under the kitchen hood.
- CAUTION: parts may become hot when used with cooking
appliances.
- The minimum distance between the support surface of the
cookware on the cooker and the lowest part of the kitchen
hood must be 65-75 cm. (When the kitchen hood is located
above a gas appliance, this distance shall be at least 65 cm).
- The kitchen hood is not designed to be installed over a hob
with more than 4 cooking zones.
- When the kitchen hood and other non-electrically powered
appliances are in simultaneous operation, the negative
pressure in the environment must not exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10-5
bar).
- Air must not be discharged into a duct used to exhaust

- No use nunca cables alargadores, conexiones de múltiples
tomas o elementos externos de conexión mediante
temporizador.
- Si la conexión eléctrica se realiza mediante clavija, esta debe
quedar accesible.
- Si se conecta el aparato directamente a la red eléctrica,
se debe prever un dispositivo que permita desconectar la
campana de la red en todos los polos.
- Compruebe que el Voltaje y la Frecuencia de la red coinciden
con la indicada en la placa de características del aparato.
- Inspeccione el cable de alimentación regularmente en
busca de daños visibles. Si el cable está dañado, debe ser
sustituido por el Servicio de Asistencia técnica de Cecotec o
por técnicos con cualicación similar para evitar un peligro.
- No debe poner en funcionamiento el aparato si el cable
de alimentación eléctrica sufre daños, está dañado o
deteriorado o si sufre cortes.
- Si el aparato deja de funcionar o tiene un funcionamiento
anormal, desconéctelo de la red eléctrica y póngase en
contacto con el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica de Cecotec.
- Cecotec se exime de toda responsabilidad por cualquier
daño o lesión causado como resultado de no seguir las
instrucciones de instalación y/o funcionamiento contenidas
en este manual de instrucciones.
