When you remove the cookware, the induction hob will stop heating immediately and the hob
will turn o automatically after 2 minutes.
Tips
Cookware quality
- Suitable materials: steel, enamelled steel, cast iron, ferromagnetic stainless steel,
aluminium with ferromagnetic base.
Unsuitable materials: aluminium and stainless steel without ferromagnetic base, copper, -
brass, glass, ceramic, porcelain.
The cookware manufacturer must specify whether the product is induction compatible. To
check if they are compatible:
- Pour a little water inside the cookware and place it on one of the cooking zones with
heating power [ 9 ]. The water should boil within a few seconds.
- A magnet should stick to the cookware bottom.
Some cookware may emit noise when placed on a cooking zone. This noise is normal and does
not imply a fault, nor does it aect the cooking process.
Cookware size
- The cooking zones adapt to the size of the cookware. However, the diameter of the bottom
of the cookware should match that of the cooking zone as closely as possible.
To get the most out of the induction hob, place the cookware in the centre of the cooking -
zone.
