- Please note that the extractor hood must not share the same ventilation duct with other

appliances that use gas or other fuses.

- To facilitate air outlet, the ventilation duct should have a curvature of ≥120° and should be

connected to the outside wall.

- After installation, ensure that the extractor hood is level to prevent grease build-up on the

end (Fig. 3).

Steps to install the extractor hood

1) Place the ceiling bracket in the position where you want to install it and drill the holes. Then,

put 8 expansion plugs into the ceiling and x them in place. Fig. 4

2) Remove the ceiling bracket and use the washers and screws to x the ceiling bracket to the

ceiling. Fig. 5

3) Reserve a space in the centre of the ceiling bracket for the socket. Fig. 6.

4) Take out the extractor hood and connect the power cable to the socket. Next, put the ceiling

bracket cover on the ceiling bracket. Fix it with 4 M4x10 screws. Fig. 7

5) After hanging the island hood, it may need some balance adjustments. First, lift the hood

slightly.

Another person should press the adjustable buckle on the fastening wire down and pull the

wire. Fig. 8

The person should also make sure that all four wires are balanced.
