Door seals cleaning

- Keep the door seals clean. Sticky food and drinks can cause the seals to stick to the

freezer and break when the door is opened. Clean the seal with a mild detergent and

warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly after cleaning.

- Do not switch on the appliance until the door seal is completely dry.

Warning!

Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the freezer. Do not reconnect the appliance to

the mains until the interior is completely dry

7. TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS

- The following energy saving tips are recommended:

- Try to avoid keeping the door open for a long period of time to save energy. Keep the

appliance away from heat sources (direct sunlight, electric ovens or cookers, etc.).

- Do not set the temperature colder than necessary.

- Do not store hot food or steaming liquids in the appliance.

- Place the device in a well-ventilated and humidity-free place. See section “Installation of

the appliance”.

- If the table shows the correct conguration for drawers and shelves, do not modify it, as

it is designed to be the most energy ecient conguration.

Fresh food refrigeration tips

- Do not place hot food directly in the freezer, as the interior temperature will increase,

straining the compressor and spending more energy.

- Cover or wrap food, especially if it has a strong odour.

- Place food correctly so air can ow freely around it.

- Do not put too much or too heavy food in the freezer. Leave enough space between the

food; if they are too close together, they will block the ow of cold air, which will aect

the cooling eect.

- Do not store too much or too heavy food to prevent the shelves from bending. When

storing food, keep it at some distance from the inside wall; do not place water-rich food

too close to the rear wall of the appliance to prevent it from freezing.

Food refrigeration tips

- Meat (all types): wrap in suitable packaging and place on the glass shelf above the fruit

and vegetable drawer. Always respect the shelf life of foodstus and the expiry dates

suggested by manufacturers.

- Pre-cooked food, cold dishes, etc.: must be covered and can be placed on any shelf.

- Fruits and vegetables: they must be kept in the special drawer provided for this purpose.
