4. OPERATION

Control panel

Use the appliance in accordance with the following instructions on the control panel (Fig. 7).

Temperature adjustment

- For optimal food preservation, it is recommended to set the freezer temperature to -18°C

during the rst use.

- If you wish to modify the temperature, follow the instructions below.

Warning: when a temperature is set, this is an average temperature for the entire freezer, the

temperatures inside each compartment may vary from the temperature shown on the control

panel display, depending on how much food you store and where you place it. A high or low

ambient temperature can also aect the actual temperature inside the appliance.

1. Switch-on

- Press and hold the “POWER” button for 3 seconds to turn the device on or o. When

the freezer is switched on, the display will show “- -”. If no button has been pressed, the

display will turn o after approximately 1 minute.

- If you want to deactivate the power-on function, make sure that the control panel is

illuminated. If not, you can press any button to turn it on.

IMPORTANT!

- If the freezer is switched on but the display shows “- -”, the appliance will stop cooling.

- If you are not going to use the freezer for a long time, unplug it.

2. FAST FREEZING FUNCTION

- The Fast Freezing function will quickly lower the freezer temperature to allow food to

freeze faster. This can preserve the vitamins and nutrients of fresh food.

- Press the button to activate the Fast Freezing function and its icon light will turn on. The

display will show -24 ºC.

- This function will automatically switch o after 52 hours.

- When the function is activated, you can deactivate it by pressing the button again. The

freezer temperature setting will return to the previous setting.

3. Temperature

Press the button to adjust the freezer temperature between -14ºC and -24ºC as required. The

control panel display will show the corresponding values in the following sequence.
