6. Run a short washing programme immediately.
Note: only ll the water softener when the indicator light lights up.
Setting the water softener
Adjust the water softener according to the water hardness in your area. This removes excess
minerals and salts from the water.
The water softener is factory preset to level H4.
To adjust the descaler level, follow the steps below:
1. Close the door and switch on the dishwasher.
2. Press and hold the start/pause button for 5 seconds (60 seconds after switching on the
dishwasher).
3. Use the start/pause button to select the setting (H1 to H6).
4. The level is automatically conrmed after 5 seconds, or by pressing the power button.
