7.4 MPXPRO/Ultracella connection to Hecu
Once the MPXPRO/Ultracella confi guration has been completed, the
serial network needs to be wired as shown in the following diagram:

To subsequently confi gure the entire system comprising Hecu and
MPXPRO/Ultracella, see the fast commissioning procedure described in
detail below.
Fast commissioning
From screen Eb00, start the AutoSetup procedure
for the UltraCella/MPXpro controllers connected to HECU. When
completed, screen Eb02 will be shown.
At the end of the procedure, the capacities of each evaporator are set on
screen Eb03, so as to maximise energy savings with the fl oating suction
function
Then download the default parameters so as to automatically confi gure
the following functions:
Floating suction pressure set point (par. 6.3): the default values
enable compressor control with fl oating set point on screen Cab01.
The minimum and maximum set point values will be displayed
automatically, in accordance with the type of refrigerant and
application selected, together with the proportional gain and integral
time values required by the controller and already shown in paragraph
6.3.
Oil recovery washing (par. 6.6): the default values enable the evaporator
oil recovery washing function on screen Fab24. The following
parameters manage this function:

Evaporator control parameters: the default values enable smooth
lines evaporator control and involve the main evaporator control
parameters on screens Ecxx. These main values are shown in the table
below:

Notice: all the values indicated as defaults by the fast
commissioning procedure can be modifi ed so as to optimise operation
of the entire system. It is recommended to change one parameter at a
time and then evaluate the eff ects over a period of no less than 10
minutes.
