INSTALLATION – RECIRCULATION MODE
If you do not have an outlet to the outside, the exhaust
pipe is not required (as shown in the section “Installation -
ducted”), and charcoal lters must be installed.
NOTE:
The air will need to exit the cabinet back into the room,
so the cabinet the hood is installed into will need to be
ventilated (for example a 150mm hole in the top).
INSTALLING THE CHARCOAL FILTER (CAP61CF)
An activated charcoal lter can be used to trap odours. In order to install the charcoal lter,
the grease lter should be detached rst. Press the release button and pull it downward as
shown below.
Fit the activated charcoal lter onto the side of the motor and turn it in a clockwise direction to
lock into place. Repeat the same on the other side.

Make sure the lter is securely locked. Otherwise,
it may loosen and be dangerous.
When using a charcoal lter, the extraction power
may be slightly reduced.
