ABOUT YOUR KIT

Due to the many variations of rangetops available (surface burners, griddles, grills, woks), the kit is supplied with

orices to cover all these possible models. In other words, if your range/rangetop does not have a griddle, you will skip

over that section of the manual, and you will not use the orice supplied for the griddle. Please refer to the tables in

each section of this manual to choose the correct orice for each application.

It is very important that each orice be replaced with the correct size as per these instructions. Incorrect orices could

result in poor cooking performance, too large or small ame, poor combustion, etc. It is recommended that you

replace one orice at a time to avoid mixing up orices.

All orices must be fully seated and tight to reduce the chance of a gas leak. DO NOT USE any sealant, pipe dope,

Teon tape, or anything else on the orice threads.

There are 2 types of orices. The hood orices are used everywhere except on Sealed or Wok burners. The orice size is

stamped on each orice.

ABOUT FLEX HOSES

If you need to disconnect any hoses during this process, use caution to avoid unnecessarily bending, twisting, or kinking the hoses. The hoses used are made

of corrugated exible stainless steel which can become brittle with age and can crack if handled roughly. Disconnect the tting carefully where necessary.

You will also perform a complete gas leakage test at the end of this procedure.

If you feel there is a good chance a hose will crack, do not begin this process unless you have replacement hoses. All parts are available by contacting Capital

customer service.
