2. Installing Software
❏ Using USB Interface
USB interface is supported by Windows 98 only.

Make sure that no USB cable
is connected between the
printer and the computer, and
turn on both the computer
and the printer.

Connect the printer to the
computer using the USB
cable.
The computer detects the printer auto-
matically, and the Add New Hardware
Wizard window opens.

Click Next, select Search the
best driver for your device
(recommended) , and then
click Next again.

Insert Printer Driver / User’s
Guide CD-ROM into your CD-
ROM drive. The disk is in-
cluded in the package.

Click CD-ROM drive and
Specify a location to checkmark
them. Type "D:\USB" in the text
box and click Next.
Where "D:\" is the drive letter of your
computer's CD-ROM drive.
