When the Head Shading data
has been received by the
computer, the message ap-
pears, as shown in the figure.

With the printer-computer connection via the parallel port, receipt of the Head Shading
data will be impossible, if the parallel interface on the computer's side is set up for
unidirectional (one-way) communication. Always set up your computer for bi-directional
(two-way) communication, provided the system allows you to use the parallel interface
configuration.
