5. Utility Tab Settings
The Utility tab allows you to perform various procedures for maintain-
ing the printer by executing the following commands on your computer.
Press this button to perform cleaning.

Press this button to adjust the
positions of six head nozzles
(➔ page 57).
Press these buttons to execute test prints.
• Nozzle Check Pattern (➔ page 51)
• Nozzle Adjustment Pattern (➔ page 54)
• Set Values Print (➔ page 58)
Press these buttons to switch into the Power
Saving Mode, or to configure the time for
switching into the Power Saving mode
automatically (➔ page 50).
Press this button to transmit the Head Shad-
ing data from the printer to the computer.
The Head Shading data is the information
necessary for print adjustment specific to the
head of your particular printer unit (➔ page
59).
