4. Overlay Tab Settings
The overlay print feature enables you to create a background image
and save it as a form file before printing. Then you can use a saved file
to print the background image in a overlaid form, with existing texts or
images which make up a foreground.
In order to use this feature, select the Overlay tab on Windows 98/95, or
click Overlay in the Page Setup tab on Windows NT.
❏ Form File Creation
When you are running Windows 98/95, open the Overlay tab and then select the Form File Creation ra-
dio button.
When you are running Windows NT, open the Page Setup tab, select Create Form File Creation, and
click Overlay.
On Windows 98/95 computers On Windows NT computers
File Name: Specify where to save a new form by entering the path and the file name.
Clicking on the Browse button is another way of specifying the location.
Title: Type the form title.
Subtitle: Type the form sub title.
Make sure that all the information are entered correctly and then click the OK button. The Properties
dialog box will close.
When you have finished the settings, print out the background image from your application. This will
complete the form file creation procedure.
Also be sure to click the Print radio button to return to the normal printing mode after you have created
a form file.
