❏ Types of Media
Use only the media that are supplied by the manufacturer specially for COLOR CARD PRINTING
MACHINE.
If you use media other than those supplied by the manufacturer, such as ordinary plain paper, it may
result in a paper jam or in unsatisfactory print quality (for example, adhesion failure, blurred images, and
unrecognizable barcodes). Note that in creating these substandard kinds of outputs the printer is not
performing at an optimum level, and this may eventually be a cause of breakdown.
Only part of the special media types are listed below.
For more information about supplies, refer to your printer dealer.
Matte coated paper: The standard media type for this printer. It is the non-glossy media equivalent
to quality general use paper.
Glossy paper: The media equivalent to cast coated general use paper with more than 75 % of
gloss value.
