Selecting Wired or Wireless LAN

Set whether to connect the machine to the network using a wired or wireless LAN.

If you want to switch from wired LAN to wireless LAN, you can make the setting during the procedure for connecting

to wireless LAN. Connecting to a Wireless LAN(P. 52)

* You cannot connect to a wired LAN and wireless LAN at the same time.

Use the control panel to congure the settings. On the control panel, you can also congure the settings by pressing

[Menu] in the [Home] screen

[Preferences]. You cannot congure the settings using Remote UI from a computer.

Administrator privileges are required.

On the control panel, press [ ] (wired LAN) or [ ] (wireless LAN) in the [Home]

screen. [Home] Screen(P. 98)

➠ The [Network] screen is displayed.

If the login screen appears, enter the Administrator ID and PIN, and then press [Log In]. Administrator ID

and PIN(P. 10)

Press [Select Wired LAN/Wi-Fi].

Select [Wired LAN] or [Wi-Fi].

The message [Settings congured.] appears.

Next, connect to the wired or wireless LAN.

When Switching between Wired and Wireless LAN

● Any installed drivers must be uninstalled and then reinstalled.
