*1: Locking is not canceled until you select [y] and press the display control key
straight in (Set). To cancel unlocking, select [n] and press Set. Display returns
to screen A. If the message on screen M1 appears after you select [y], follow
the instructions at right.

4-8 Unlock
Settings can be unlocked to enable modication. Changing the user from [Lock] applies globally, not only to the current user. Thus, there is no need to
switch users in advance.
Locking can be canceled from the User screen and Sub screen.
NOTE
1. Settings are unlocked and can be modied when the user no. on the Sub
screen is TEMP, 1, 2, or 3.
2. Settings are locked when the user no. on the Sub screen is [Lock].
3. The password used is the same one entered to lock the settings. If you forget
the password, contact your Canon sales representative or dealer.
