OPERATION
When the UNICON remote unit is started (press BACK briefly), “Software Update– Please wait”
(for service purposes only) is shown on the display for a short time and then the control panels
and battery status are shown briefly on the display. The start-up procedure is completed after a
few seconds, the main menu is shown in the display and then the device is operational. Connect
the remote unit to one or more RDM devices using DMX or network cables. The DMX Contol and
DMX Receive functions are also available for DMX devices that do not have the RDM standard
(except EZ Remote).
DEVICE MENU (RDM/Fixture)
Select the menu item RDM/Fixture and confirm the selection. A list of all connected RDM devices
is then displayed (in the example H1 FC/H1 FC and H1 D/H1 D; the first part of the displayed RDM
device shows the device model, the second part after "/" is an additional designation that can be
adapted in the Label menu item for easier identification). Select the desired RDM device in the list
and confirm the selection (in the example H1 FC/H1 FC).
