Feature Overview
Telnet is an industry standard protocol for accessing remote systems using TCP protocol. Telnet
Server allows clients to authenticate using a user and a password and then provides access to a CLI
session.
The Telnet protocol exchanges unencrypted data and is vulnerable to spoofing when used over public
networks, thus it is recommended NOT to use it in live deployments.
