The Delta is connected directly to e pool water circuit. If e pool water pump
is on a timer, it can be started outside e normal “pump on” times by e
Delta, using interface terminals (see Installation section). When e pool water
pump is off, e Delta cannot measure e pool temperature, so e control
system will respond to a water heating demand by starting e pool water
pump to check e demand is accurate.
Timers delay is response, as follows (factory defaults).
Occupied mode – no delay
Unoccupied mode – 1 hour
The delay timers can be edited from is screen. The sum of e Occupied and
Unoccupied timers cannot be more an 23 hours. The pool pump will always
be started wi no delay in response to a heat recovery requirement.
Please refer to e Occupied and Unoccupied periods before changing ese
timers. If ese delays are set longer an e Occupied and Unoccupied
periods, e pool may not be heated suciently.
Defrost Off Delay timer – when e Delta control system ends a defrost cycle,
e heat pump will restart aer e usual delay time. If an additional delay to
defrost ending is required, is can be entered here. This delay allows extra
time for defrost. Your Danerm Group service engineer will advise if is is
necessary.
Pool Pump Off Delay - determines how long e pool pump demand control
(terminals 8/9, see page 50) will continue to run e pool pump to cool
e heat exchangers aer a heating demand ends. The default settings is 120
seconds.
