Installation Preparation
NEW CONSTRUCTION, PRE-PLANNING, OR REMODELING
NOTE: For existing instruction, skip to the next section.
FOR TOP VENTING
■For ducted installation through the top, the 8”
diameter hole (for 30” or 36” model) for the duct
in the ceiling must be center 6-1/4” away from the
finished rear wall in the installation space.
FOR BACK VENTING
■Forductedinstallationthroughtheback,the
10-1/2"H x 13-1/4”W cut out for the duct in the wall
must be centered in the installation space, left to
right and located 3-3/4” above intended install height
from bottom of the hood.
