COMMISSIONING
•
Before using the device for the rst time, fully drain and then recharge the rechargeable
battery once.
•
The battery cannot be exchanged. If the battery is defective, the oodlight has to be
disposed of properly.

BATTERY STATUS INDICATOR
The battery status indicator (5) appears automatically when the oodlight is switched on.
If all 4 LEDs are lit, the battery is fully charged.
If the battery is almost empty, the oodlight ashes 5 times and the battery status
indicator (5) ashes continuously. Afterwards, the oodlight will remain on for approx.
10
minutes before the light is switched o by the deep discharge protection function.
This ensures sucient time to complete work.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Only charge your battery using the supplied charging cable type A/C.
A USB port type C is available as charging input. The charging cable can be plugged into a
conventional USB charger at the other end.
Only use a certied USB power source (e.g. charging device, computer) with a maximum
of 5 V output voltage: Connection: USB source - charging cable type A/C - charging port
(6).
During charging, the charging indicator ashes, it is illuminated constantly when the
battery is fully charged.
If the device is not used for longer periods of time, charge the battery at regular intervals
of approx. 3 months to ensure a long service life.
CHARGING EXTERNAL DEVICES VIA USB
The oodlight oers a USB power bank function. An external device, such as a
smartphone or tablet, can be connected to the USB port and charged. The number of
possible charge cycles depends on the type of external device and on the charge level of
the oodlight’s battery.
