7. Cleaning
Please disconnect the mains plug from the socket before you start cleaning! Use
a cloth slightly dampened with water for cleaning. The appliance must never be
immersed in water for cleaning. This could lead to an electric shock or re!
8. Safety instrucons and disclaimer
Never aempt to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modicaons yourself.
Avoid contact with the mains voltage. The appliance is only deenergised when the
plug is disconnected. Do not shortcircuit the product. Also remember to disconnect
the mains plug completely when not in use or during a thunderstorm.
The appliance is not approved for outdoor use. Therefore, please only use it in a dry
area. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Always keep the device away
from high temperatures. Do not expose the device to sudden temperature changes
or strong vibraons, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the
device for any damage before use. The appliance should not be used if it has been
knocked or damaged in any other way. Please also observe the naonal regulaons
and restricons. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those described
in these instrucons. This product is not a toy.
Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or modi-
caon to the appliance that is not carried out by the original supplier will invalidate
the warranty or guarantee. The appliance may only be used by persons who have
read and understood these instrucons. The device specicaons may change wi-
thout prior noce.
9. Disposal instrucons
According to the European WEEE Direcve, electrical and electronic devices may
not be disposed of with household waste. Their components must be recycled
or disposed of separately, as toxic and hazardous components can cause las-
ng damage to the environment if disposed of incorrectly. As a consumer, you
are obliged under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (Elekt-
roG) to return electrical and electronic equipment free of charge at the end of
its life to the manufacturer, the point of sale or to public collecon centres set
up for this purpose. Details are regulated by the respecve state law. The sym-
bol on the product, the operang instrucons and/or the packaging refers to
these regulaons. By separang, recycling and disposing of old appliances in this
way, you are making an important contribuon to protecng our environment
