Notes
You can clean the filter system
regularly even without the notifica-
tion being shown on the display.
It is not necessary to clean after
each drying cycle.
If you do not clean the appliance
as described, the appliance's func-
tionality may be impaired.
Requirement: The display shows the
following during operation: .

Open the base unit.

Carefully remove the filter mat from
the retainers.
Ensure that you do not deform or
damage the filter mat.

Use a soft brush to clean the heat
exchanger cover.
Make sure that you remove all dirt
from the seal.
5.
Clean the filter mat thoroughly un-
der warm, running water and
squeeze it out by hand.
You can remove heavy soiling
carefully using a vacuum cleaner.
Do not clean the filter mat using
cleaning agents.
Note: Collect the cleaning water in
a container, e.g. a bucket. After
cleaning, pour the contents of the
container through a filter, e.g. a
coffee filter.
Dispose of the coffee filter with the
household waste in order to pre-
vent the water from being contam-
inated with microplastics.
6.
Push the filter mat onto the retain-
ers.
Ensure that the cleaned filter mat
is not deformed, damaged or in-
verted when you push it onto the
retainers.
