Water outlet
Caution!
Water damage
When water is being drained away, the
drain hose is under high water pressure
and may slip out of the connection
point.
Secure the outlet hose so that it cannot
slip out.
Caution!
Damage to the appliance/fabrics
If the end of the outlet hose is immersed
in the drained water, water may not be
drained properly.
Make sure that:
■ The end of the drain hose is
not immersed in the drained
water.
■ The water drains away quickly
enough.
Follow the same procedure for the
spin tub.

Before using the appliance for
the first time
Before you switch on the appliance:
Check that there is no visible damage to
the appliance. Do not operate the
appliance if it is damaged. Should you
have any problems, please contact your
specialist dealer or our after-sales
service.
Your appliance has been thoroughly
tested before leaving the factory. To
remove any water that may be left over
from testing, run the first wash cycle
without any laundry.
Run a program without laundry as
follows:
1. Connect the inlet hose to the
washing machine and to the tap.
2. Ensure that the drain flap is closed.
3. Set the water selector knob to
wash.
4. Set the wash timer to 2minutes.
5. After the cycle finishes, open the
drain flap to allow the water to drain.

Ensure the proper positioning of
the second end of the water drain
hose towards a floor drain.
