Restoring the factory settings - Individual settings

AutoChef®
You can set the temperature unit for
AutoChef® to °F or °C. The cooking zone
display will show or when you activate
AutoChef®.

Factory setting
To go to the basic settings
Requirement:The cooktop must be switched off.
1. To switch on the cooktop, touch .
2. Within the next 10seconds, touch and hold for 4
seconds.

Touch to view the individual displays.
3. Touch to access the basic settings.

4. Touch repeatedly until the desired setting
appears.
5. Select the required setting in the settings area.
6. Touch and hold for 4 seconds.

8.14 Power limitation
You can use this function to set the total power of the
cooktop.
The cooktop is set at the factory. You can find the
maximum power of the cooktop on the rating plate. You
can use this function to adjust the configuration to the
requirements of each electrical installation.
In order to not exceed this set value, the cooktop
automatically distributes the available power as needed
between the cooking zones that are switched on.
While this function is activated, the output of each cooking
zone may temporarily fall below the nominal value. If a
cooking zone is switched on and the power limit is
reached, the required power level and the maximum
available power level flash on the power level display. The
appliance regulates and selects the highest power level
automatically.

HomeConnect®
This appliance is network-capable. Connecting your
appliance to a mobile device lets you control its functions
via the HomeConnect® app, adjust its basic settings and
monitor its operating status.
The HomeConnect® services are not available in every
country. The availability of the HomeConnect® function
depends on the availability of HomeConnect® services in
your country. You can find information on this at:
www.home-connect.com.
The HomeConnect® app guides you through the entire
registration process. Follow the instructions in the
HomeConnect® app to implement the settings.
Tip:Follow the instructions in the HomeConnect® app as
well.
Notes
¡ Also note the safety information in this instruction
manual and ensure that it is also observed when
operating the appliance using the HomeConnect® app.
¡ Operating the appliance on the appliance itself always
takes priority. It is not possible to operate the appliance
using the HomeConnect® app during this time.
¡ In networked standby mode, the appliance requires a
maximum of 2watts.
¡ Cooktops are not designed to be left unattended.
Always monitor the cooking process.
9.1 Setting up the HomeConnect® app
1. Install the HomeConnect® app on your mobile device.
2. Start the HomeConnect® app and set up access for
HomeConnect®.
The HomeConnect® app guides you through the entire
registration process.
