2. Enter the desired cook time duration using the numeric
keypad.
3. Press start.
a The oven timer starts to count down.
a When the oven timer has elapsed the heating mode is
turned off.
Canceling the oven timer
1. Press timers repeatedly until "duration" starts blinking
in the display.
2. Press cancel.
7.8 Delay start
With this feature you can program your oven to start a
heating mode at a predetermined time.
CAUTION
Food might spoil when left standing for too long.
▶ To maintain food safety, do not leave food in the oven
for more than one hour before or after cooking.
Setting delay start
1. Set the desired heating mode and temperature.
2. Press timers twice.
a "delay start" lights up on the display.
3. Set the desired start time with the number keys.
4. Press start.
a After the waiting period the oven starts heating.
Note:If you press start again the heating mode starts
immediately.
Canceling delay start
1. Press timers repeatedly until "delay start" is blinking in
the display.
2. Press cancel.
7.9 Sabbath mode
The Sabbath mode enables those of particular faiths to
use their ovens on the Sabbath.
¡ Sabbath mode is only available in bake mode.
¡ You can set a temperature between 175°F (80°C) and
425°F (220°C).
¡ You can set a duration of up to 74hours.
Oven behavior during Sabbath mode
While Sabbath mode is active the oven behaves in the
following ways.
¡ The cook time and temperature cannot be changed.
¡ All signal sounds are deactivated.
¡ The oven light is turned off and will not turn on when the
oven door is opened.
¡ After a power failure the appliance will return to Sabbath
mode without heating. The timer countdown will start
again from 74 hours.
¡ When an error message is triggered, the heating mode
is turned off. An error message is displayed, but there is
no signal sound.
Setting Sabbath mode
1. Press .
2. Press or on the upper half of the display until
"sabbath" lights up.
3. Press or on the lower half of the display until is
displayed.
4. Press start.
a "sabbath" starts blinking.
a The default temperature 350°F is displayed in the top
half of the display, the default duration 48 h is displayed
in the bottom half of the display.
5. Adjust the temperature and duration with or if
desired.
6. Press start.
a After 30seconds the oven starts to heat and the time
starts to count down.
a Once the cooking time has elapsed the oven is
automatically turned off.
Note:You can cancel the Sabbath mode at any time by
pressing cancel.
