During charging, the charging indicator light lights up yellow.

When the lithium-ion battery pack(17) (accessory) is fully

charged, the charging indicator light will light up green.

A red charging indicator light indicates that the charging voltage

or charging current is unsuitable.

Changing the Fuse

The battery compartment cover (13) may only be opened with

the test leads ((7) / (8)) removed. There is a risk of electric

shock.

Remove the test leads ((7) / (8)) from the Digital Multimeter.

Unscrew the 3 screws (12) on the battery compartment cover (13)

and remove the cover (see Fig. N, page6).

Remove the defective fuse (14) and insert the new fuse.

Reinsert the battery compartment cover (13) and secure it with the

3 screws (12).

Only use fuses with the given specification. (see "Technical data",

page28).

The Digital Multimeter can only be switched on if the battery com-

partment cover (13) is screwed down correctly.

Kick stand

Swivel the kick stand (19) out to the rear to place down the Digital

Multimeter in an upright position (see Fig. P, page7).

Magnetic Hanger

The magnetic hanger(20) can be used to attach the Digital Multi-

meter to metallic surfaces(see Fig. Q, page8).

Troubleshooting

Battery warning

The symbol for battery warning appears and an audio signal is

output

Cause: Battery voltage is dropping (measurement still possible)

Corrective measure: Change the non-rechargeable batteries

An audio signal is output and the digital measuring tool switches off

Cause: Non-rechargeable batteries drained

Corrective measure: Change the non-rechargeable batteries or re-

chargeable batteries
