Measuring tools that are no longer suitable for use and defective or used rechargeable

batteries/batteries must be disposed of separately. Use the designated collection sys-

tems.

If disposed incorrectly, waste electrical and electronic equipment may have harmful ef-

fects on the environment and human health, due to the potential presence of hazardous

substances.

According to The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013

(SI2013/3113) (as amended) and the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations

2009 (SI2009/890) (as amended), products that are no longer usable must be collec-

ted separately and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
