6. Reinstall the grease filter.
Checking the odor filters
1. Remove the grease filters.

2. Remove the filter clips and lift the odor filter from the
grease filter to view the indicator strip.
– The indicator strip has dotted lines. When the lines
have turned to wide solid lines the odor filter is
saturated and should be replaced.
Note:DO NOT immerse the odor filters in water or put
them in the dishwasher.
8.5 Cleaning recommendations
Area Cleaning agents
Stainless
steel
Warm soapy water:
¡ Clean with a non-abrasive, non-sponge
dish towel and dry with a clean, soft towel.
¡ Clean stainless steel surfaces in the grain
direction only.
¡ Do not use cellulose sponges. Some
sponges are processed with salt and can
cause corrosion by leaving salt deposits on
the metal.
¡ Do not allow any cleaning compounds to
remain in contact with stainless steel for
extended periods.
¡ Do not use chlorine-based cleaners.
¡ To remove fingerprints and produce added
shine, use a stainless steel cleaner or
conditioner.

surfaces

¡ Clean with a soft cloth.
Area Cleaning agents

¡ Clean with a soft cloth. Do not use a glass
scraper.

dish towel and dry with a clean, soft towel.
¡ Risk of damage to electronics due to
moisture penetration. Never clean controls
with a wet cloth.
¡ Do not use stainless steel cleaners.
