Fault Cause and troubleshooting
Water is leaking out of
the appliance.
Excessive frost forms in the one-star freezer compart-
ment and the evaporation pan overflows during the
defrosting process.
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Unplug the appliance from the mains or switch off
the circuit breaker in the fuse box.
2. Wipe away the condensation water with a soft, dry
cloth.
3. Use a sponge to soak up the condensation water
from the evaporation pan.

3days or whenever the defrost display is no longer
visible.
Appliance makes drip-
ping noises while de-
frosting.
Not a fault. Ice melts and water drops fall into the
bottle container and the evaporation tray on the rear
of the appliance.

bubbles, buzzes,
gargles or clicks.
Not a fault. A motor is running, e.g. refrigerating unit.
Refrigerant flows through the pipes. The motor or
switches are switching on or off.

The appliance makes
noises.
The appliance is not level.
▶ Place the appliance on a level surface.
The appliance is not free-standing.
▶ Observe the minimum clearances for the appliance.
Fittings wobble or stick.
▶ Check the removable fittings and, if required, re-
place these.
Bottles or containers are touching.
▶ Move the bottles or containers away from each
other.
