Fill in the salt
CAUTION:
• Only refill the salt container when the salt warning
light is illuminated.
• While filling the salt container, salt and water can
escape. Start a program immediately after you
have filled in the container to prevent corrosion.
• Remove the dish basket to access the salt con-
tainer.
• Unscrew the lid of the salt container counter-
clockwise.
• Add about 130 g of salt by using the supplied
funnel tube.
• Full fill the salt container with water (just before
the first use).
• Screw the lid firmly on again after filling the con-
tainer.
• Depending on salt resolution, the warning light
usually disappears immediately after filling it.
Fill in detergent
Function of detergent
Detergents with chemical ingredients are necessary
to remove dirt, crush dirt and transport it out of the
dishwasher. The most commercially, high-quality
cleaning agents are suitable for this purpose.
Notes on cleaning agents
- New, powdered cleaning agents are generally
phosphate-free. However, phosphate-free means
that the water-softening effect of phosphates is
missing. Therefore, it is recommended that you
continue to add salt to the salt container even if
the water hardness is only 6°dH.
- When using phosphate-free detergents, white
stains may appear on dishes and glasses in hard
water. Then you should increase the amount of
detergent to achieve better washing results.
- Chlorine-free detergents only have a slight
bleaching effect. Strong and colored stains will not
be completely removed. In such cases, use a
rinse program with a higher temperature.
