• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and under-
stand the hazards involved.
• Children should not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless
they are older 8 years and supervised.
• NOTE: Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload
refrigerating appliances.
• Do not repair the appliance by yourself, always consult an authorized
specialist. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified people to avoid a
hazard. In case of damage, the appliance must not be used!
• Use the provided collection points of electrical equipment for the dis-
posal of the appliance.

WARNING
Fire hazard due to flammable refrigerant
This appliance uses the natural refrigerant isobutane
(R600a). It is environmentally friendly but flammable.
Therefore, take particular care when transporting and
installing the appliance to avoid damaging the refrig-
erant circuit.
What to do if the refrigerant circuit is damaged:
If you discover or suspect damage to the refrigerant
circuit, observe the following safety measures:
• Avoid open flames and ignition sources.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply
immediately.
• Ventilate the installation site thoroughly.
• Contact a qualified specialist immediately.
Transport and packaging
Transport the appliance
If possible, transport the appliance in an upright (ver-
tical) position. If transportation in a horizontal position
is unavoidable, place the appliance in an upright
position for several hours before commissioning, as
described under
“Prior to first use”
.
