• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children, unless

they are older than 8 years and are supervised.

• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal objects for clean-

ing the glass surface. The glass can be scratched or destroyed.

• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an au-

thorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced

by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified people

avoid a hazard.

Transport and packaging

Transporting the appliance

• If possible, transport the appliance in a vertical

(upright) position to prevent damage to sensitive

components.

• Carefully secure the appliance against twisting,

tipping over or impact loads. Use suitable packag-

ing materials, ideally the original packaging.

• Ensure that the appliance is protected from the

weather during transportation and storage.

• Before transportation, remove any loose or re-

movable parts such as trays, grids, glass shelves,

inserts or accessories from the interior or secure

them carefully to prevent damage.

• Never carry or move the appliance by sensitive

components such as doors, operating elements,

handles or the connection cable. Instead, use sta-

ble carrying surfaces or handles provided.

Unpacking the appliance

• Remove the appliance from its packaging.

• Remove all packaging material, such as foil, filling

material and cardboard packaging.

• Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer

required in accordance with local regulations.

• Check the appliance for any transport damage to

avoid hazards.

• In the event of damage, do not operate the appli-

ance. Contact your dealer.

NOTE:

There may still be dust or production residues on the

appliance. We recommend that you clean the appli-

ance in accordance with the instructions under

“Cleaning and maintenance”

before using it.
