7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the device, ensure that the device is disconnected
from the power supply and that there is no water left in the water
tank

. Regular cleaning is a prerequisite for hygienic and fault-free
operation. The device can be dismantled for cleaning easily and
without tools (see chapter “6.1 Initial use”).

10. DISPOSAL
The device can be recycled more easily if you dispose of the individ-
ual elements (ceramic, wood, plastic, electronics, cables) separately.
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before
dismantling.

Unscrew the screws underneath.

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in house-
hold waste at the end of its service life. Dispose of the device at a
suitable local collection or recycling point in your coun-
try. Observe the local regulations for material disposal.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). If you
have any questions, please contact the local authorities
responsible for waste disposal. You can obtain the loca

tion of collection points for old devices from the local or municipal
