7. USAGE
7.1 Initial use
1.
Download the “My Gardia” app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or
Google Play (Android
TM
).

2. Regardless of whether you are wearing the device or an emergency
contact, register in the “My Gardia” app and follow the instructions.
To set up the device, tap “Add device”. You will then be guided step-
by-step in the app.
3. Connect the charging cable

and the supplied
mains plug

. Insert the mains plug into a suitable socket.

Use the app to scan the code on the back of the emergency wristband
or enter the serial number on the back of the emergency wristband
(combination of numbers and letters) into the app.
5. Place the emergency wristband in the charger

when prompted in
the app. The emergency wristband turns on automatically.

During the flashing sequence, press the ON/OFF/emergency but-
ton

when prompted in the app, without removing the emergency
wristband from the charger.

The LEDs

light up green as confirmation. Do not remove the emer-
gency wristband from the charger

until it has been fully set up.
