The Emergency Wristband is a mobile communication device that allows you to trigger an
emergency notification in an emergency. If it detects a fall, the emergency wristband automat-
ically sends an emergency notification for you via the fall detection function, or you can trigger
an emergency notification yourself at the push of a button.
If you find yourself in an emergency, your emergency contacts (e.g. relatives, nursing sta) will
be informed immediately via the “My Gardia” app. Your emergency contacts will be able to
establish a voice connection (“emergency call”) and find your location. The location can only
be tracked during an emergency notification.
There is also the option of booking a professional emergency call service, which will provide
you with help as quickly as possible in an emergency and can be reached 24 hours a day, 7
days a week, all year round.
The emergency wristband is a mobile communication device with an integrated Spanish roam-
ing SIM card that always connects to an available network in the respective country. So when
the emergency wristband is connected to an emergency contact, a foreign mobile phone num-
ber will be displayed. In addition to the monthly subscription fees, additional costs may be in-
curred for an active Internet connection (so that the app can be used to its full extent), or for es-
tablishing a voice connection between the emergency contact and the emergency wristband.

2. INCLUDED IN DELIVERY
Check that the exterior of the cardboard delivery packaging is intact and make sure that all
contents are present. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the device or acces-
sories and that all packaging material has been removed. If you have any doubts, do not use
the device and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.
