> Pull the needle down to remove.
> Hold the new needle (2) with the flat side to the rear. Push the needle upwards into the needle holder as
far as it will go (3).

> Tighten the fixing screw by hand.
Adjusting the Needle Position
> Raise the needle.
> Use a recommended presser foot.
> Set the required needle position using the needle position dial.
