1 Important safety and environmental instructions

• Please keep children away from the appliance when the appliance is powered on or cooling down;

• Please do not clean up on leather, waxed furniture or floors, synthetic fibers, velvet or other vulnerable

and steam sensitive materials;

• Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing from moving parts and openings whilst using product.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its agent or similarly qualified

person in order to avoid hazard.

• Motorized cleaning head for water suction cleaning.

• WARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit PW503-6

provided with this appliance.

• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped;

• The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the battery;

• Please disposeof used batteries according to local laws and regulations.

• Only use with T-DC71-SJ battery

• Please remove and insert the batteries according to User Manual

• Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed

• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity

• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of

• If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed

• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited

• Damage or improper use may cause the battery to leak, in such a case do not use the battery or touch

the battery with bare hands and dispose of safely

• Do not expose batteries to direct sunlight or heat source.

• The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
