grounded. Grounding
reduces the risk
of electric shock
by providing an
escape wire for the
electric current. If
the power cord has a
grounding plug with a
grounding wire, plug
it into an outlet that
is properly installed
and grounded. If the
power cord has not
a grounding plug
with a grounding
wire, the grounding
wire must connect
the breaker that is
properly installed and
grounded.
